Не думаю, что такие мои потуги на выражение мысли по-английски доставят даже малое amusement кому-то еще кроме вас. Но если даже и нет, если даже и поставить для себя целью для пребывания тут – развлечение людей и доставление им удовольствия различными эпистолярными способами – то тогда русский способ выражения мысли тут будет наиболее эффективным. Поэтому, как бы то ни было – отдавая должное английскому, просто хочется писать по-русски. Чтобы кроме доставления удовольствия еще и связно выражать свои мысли.

Но, а как теперь относятся в вашей среде к "Письмам Махатм" и вообще к Теософии и трудам Е.П.Блаватской – давно хотелось бы спросить, так как в нашей среде к этому относятся довольно неоднозначно – вот представилась возможность и спрашиваю. Тем более, что Нью-Йорк это то место откуда началось как Рериховское так и Теософское движение, по крайней мере для Западного мира. Знаю, что теперь в Англии всё это сошло "на нет", как у нас это принято говорить

I'd like to comment, if I may, on something you pointed out, that HPB and the Roerichs both established their work in New York. Actually, the parallels are even more. HPB and the Roerichs grew up in Russian culture. They were both sent out of Russia to start their work in the West. They were both directed to England, where they met their Masters. They then were sent to New York, where they gathered followers and students and started their real work. And after that, they were sent to India to settle there and continue their work.

There are small differences that are worth thinking about. HPB became an American citizen before leaving for India. The Roerichs did not (though there is in our archive a letter by NK to the government, applying for citizenship -- we don't know if that letter was actually sent). HPB established the Theosophical Society in India. The Roerichs did not. No one wonders why. I think it is an important question, to understand why the Roerich lived in India all those years, but during all that time their Agni Yoga work was directed mainly to the West, out of India.

These are interesting questions, good for research.
